Monastery of the Ascension was in 12 ages here . Now here church of the Ascension is finded only. Charch of St Nicolas at the Galley`s. 18 century. Church of Our Saviour. Baroque elements in the decoration of the exterior details of this church are rare for Vladimir. Cathedral of the Assumption. 1158-1189. The cathedral was the centre of political and religious life, the major Russian cathedral up to the middle 15th century. Among the most valuable attributes of the cathedral there are the frescoes by Andrei Rublev and Daniil Chorny made in 1408. Cathedral of St. Demetrios. 1194-1197. A masterpiece of white stone architecture. Cathedral 12 century  no longer extant. Walls of the Monastery was built in 18 century Church of the Exaltation of the cross in the Market Place. Princess's Convent, 15tn-16th centuries. The frescoes made by Mark Matveyev in 1647-1648 are preserved in the cathedral. The Golden Gates. 1164. A unique specimen of early Russian militaiy architecture. It was used as a fortress and a triumphal entrance to the town. Volga's Gates.  1164. No longer extant. River Klyazma. Has a headwaters in Moscow area and  falls into river Volga River Lybed. At one time, navigable. Now practically ceased to exist.
