The Church of the Our Lord's Cross was erected in 1770 on the North site of the Suzdal main town square. It was built by the townspeople in memory of the discontinuance epidemic of 1770. The present pillarless building have an asymmetrical composition. It was the result that that the western part has been attached only in 19 century.
If we go not far from the Church to West - on the bank of the river Kamenka, we would see the delightful beautifully situated meadow (Iliynsky loog) at a sharp river bend.
